- Dr. Meka Papa Rao – Chairman

Dr. Papa Rao did his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1970, M.S. in Nuclear Fission in the University of Illinois and followed it up with a Ph. D in Nuclear Fission in the University of Illinois in 1977. He was associated with Prof. John Bardeen, the inventor of transistor and the only man to win two Nobel Prizes in Physics.
Dr. Rao found that Nuclear Fission is still in its infancy and he started working in marine engineering from 1977, and worked as a port manager for the new port of Tuticorin. In 1982 he started his own company AMMA LINES LTD. Since 1982 till date he has built many jetties, harbours and breakwaters in India.

Mr. Anand Jain is the Director in Rewas Ports Limited and Chairman of Navi Mumbai SEZ Private Limited, Reliance Haryana SEZ Ltd, Urban Infrastructure Venture Capital Limited (UIVCL) & Jai Corp Limited. He is a highly successful entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in various businesses, with a rich expertise in Real Estate, Finance and Capital Markets. One of the passions of Mr. Jain is to provide quality infrastructure for the city of Mumbai which it truly deserves. Recognizing this, he has been appointed by the Government of Maharashtra as a Member of the "Empowered Committee for Transformation of Mumbai into a World Class City."
He is also a member of the "Citizens Action Group" dedicated to bring Mumbai on the International map. Mr. Jain, ex-trustee of the Mumbai Port Trust and JNPT, is also the Promoter and Chairman of Urban Infrastructure Venture Capital Limited (UIVCL). UIVCL is investment manager to Urban Infrastructure Opportunities Fund (UIOF), India's largest Real Estate fund having raised over Rs. 3286 crores from over 700 retail and institutional investors. UIVCL is also an Advisor to Urban Infrastructure Real Estate Fund (UIREF); which has raised US$ 500 million from international investors and along with the local participation of US$ 60 Million, the total fund size is US$560 Million for investing in the Indian Real Estate sector.
He was also the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Mumbai and is a member of Managing Council of Sir Hurkisondas Nurrotamdas Hospital and Research Centre. Mr. Jain a graduate from the University of Mumbai has also done a course in Risk Management from London Business School.
- Mr. Ajit Warty – Director

Mr. Warty had been in public service for nearly 40 years. He started his career with Army where he worked in the field formations as well as on staff assignments. He relinquished his commission as a Captain after being selected for Indian Administrative Service. As a Maharashtra cadre officer of the IAS, he has been exposed to a very wide range of activities not only covering regulatory and developmental functions but also certain specific fields relating to urban development. He worked as Assistant Collector, thereafter Collector of a district, and Commissioner of a Division as well as Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department. He had long tenure as Additional Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai, Municipal Commissioner of Pune and was also an Administrator of Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
He was the Vice-Chairman & CEO of the Maharashtra Housing Road Development Authority and thereafter, Principal Secretary of Housing and Special Assistance Department dealing with policy issues of Public Housing, Area Development as well as the implementation of Urban Land Ceiling Act. He had a long and successful tenure as the Metropolitan Commissioner of MMRDA where his responsibilities included for planning and balanced development of the entire Region; development of the Bandra - Kurla Complex, complete design and the negotiations with the World Bank for Mumbai urban transport project. He has also worked as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Immediately before joining the group he was the Chairman of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission.
- Mr. Sanjay Punkhia – Director

Mr. Sanjay Punkhia has extensive experience in developing and financing infrastructure projects. He is a Chartered Accountant and has spent 14 years with the Aditya Birla Group where he was associated with developing and implementing chemical projects at Nagda and Vikram Ispat in the State of Maharashtra.
He then moved on to develop two 500 MW power projects for the Aditya Birla Group, for which he was responsible for the planning, contracting and financing. He has been with the Reliance Group for the last ten years.
- Mr. Natarajan Iyer – Director

Mr. K V Natarajan is a Gold Medalist in Civil Engg, 1966 batch from IIT Madras, he continued in his Alma Mater to finish his Master’s degree in Structural Engg. in 1968. He entered his profession as Class I officer in IDSE (Indian Defence Service of Engineers) through UPSC in 1968. He served not only in Defence but also in Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Surface Transport handling Planning, Design and Execution of prestigious projects of Govt of India.
He was responsible for raising of Rs.1000 crore JNP in a record construction time of 4 years, execution of International Passenger Terminal at Sahar (Bombay), design of Naval Project Vizag and Air Defence Regiment at Gopalpur on Sea deserve special mention.
After taking VRS from Govt in 1996, he raised another port (Mundra) from green field situation in the state of Gujarat which is hailed as a Mega port of success through private participation. He was also the Managing Director of South West Port Ltd, Goa between 2003-2004. As a Senior Port Consultant, he has also advised Birla Group, Tata Group, Chowgule, BHP Billiton, etc. on their port Projects. He is an approved Arbitrator, Fellow of Institution of Engineers and visiting faculty in various technical Institutes of repute.

Mr. Gotam Kothari is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. He has over 20 years of cross functional experience in the field of Project Finance, Commercial, Accounts, Taxation, Media, and Legal and Secretarial.
- Mrs. Meka Rajyalaxmi Rao – Director

Mrs. Rajyalakshmi Rao did her MBA in Marketing and M.S. (Advertising) from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA - 1975. She has been the member of various consumer grievances and dispute cells across India. In addition to leading the crusade for the consumers, she is also actively involved in cultural activities and promotions.

Mr. Meka Hemant Rao did his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. As the director of Amma Lines Ltd, he has been involved in the development activities of Rewas Port as well as taking care of the various business development initiatives. He is very active socially as well as culturally and was chosen for the Prince of Wales award.

Mr. Ashwani Kumar is a MMB nominee to the Board of Directors of Rewas Ports Limited, and is Chief Executive Officer of MMB.
Mr. Ashwani Kumar is B.E.(Mechanical) from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and MBA (Marketing), Punjab University, Chandigarh.
He is a Member of Indian Administrative Service 1987 batch. He brings with him rich experience and expertise. He worked with various givernment organizations.
Prior to joining as Chief Executive Office of Maharashtra Maritime Board, He was Chairman & Managing Director, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal.
- Capt. J.B. Rohilla

Capt. J.B. Rohilla, is a MMB nominee to the Board of Directors of Rewas Ports Limited and is an ex-Indian Naval Executive Officer with specialization in Hydrograhy. The Officer is an alumni of Defense Services Staff College and brings with him 30 years of experience including commands of 2 Indian Naval Ships. The Officer has been involved with Port Development along the Indian Coast, especially in Maharashtra and is currently functioning as Hydrographer & Chief Ports Officer of Maharashtra Maritime Board.
